Holy smokes - outrageous!

-
have seen a few of them out and about around here. looks like a fun toy that i'd be bored of in a few months..

for that price , I will take 5 !!?????? a toy for people that have too much money and time, and too few toys!?????

Altho it looks slick as pup poop. Why so limited on options accessories? The electronic options are stupid Iphone stuff. Accessories I see nada other than covers and windshields?
Some pics look cgi. Too "fake" looking. I may have to swing by the dealership and see if they have one to drool over.
Maybe cuz im accessing their site from my phone?
I would love to have one.

seems the "options" are color schemes mostly - I hear ya with the IPhone crap. I "built" a black one, upgraded wheels and dual windshield -- ended up costing what the "high-end" painted model does.. too much for a toy - but they are cool - I really dig the look.

I saw a truck full of them headed to a dealership a year or so ago, before they were on the market.

I've seen one up close in a supermarket parking lot.

If you've seen a T-Rex, it's similar, but front engine and car trans, where the T-Rex is a Hyabusa drivetrain with an inline shifter.

you - as soon as you get back from the Polaris dealer.. :D

Lmao I wish. Only pic would be me in cuffs on security cam.

Because it has 3 wheels you will need a cycle endorsement. The price is a bit high in my book.

Yeah its out of my price range. Got my mc endorsement and have had 2 bikes. I wonder how they handle?
Its nothing for people to spend $10-15k easy on a new sled. Mind you that's in Canuck Bucks.

LOL - that and a mugshot right? hey, Google Polaris Slingshot then hit images.. lots o pics

Was talking to the salesman that sold me my Victory Highball motorcycle, who also sells these. Handles like a go kart, but if a little to fast around a corner you actually end up drifting it. He say's every one goes through a rear tire pretty quick, then they tone down there driving a bit. there is a bikini top for it if you are worried about the weather. The interior is totally water proof, if it does get wet no damp dog smell at least.

let us know if you do!! oh, and get us some pics would ya!?
I saw one on the interstate yesterday and couldn't catch up to see what is was (no comment, I was driving my Honda). They look cool, I am interested in test driving.

I saw one at the end of this last year. I went in to get parts for my ST1100 and the sales guy asked me if I had seen one yet. The one he showed me was loaded at 24k but it was already sold. It was cool! If I didn't have other things I was after more I would likely have bought it on the spot... if it wasn't already sold!

can YOU get us some "real" pics? my wife insists that the next vehicle purchase be a newer Harley - how the hell do ya argue with that!? :D

no really - this is outrageous! http://www.polaris.com/en-us/slingshot/slingshot[/QUO

I ride a 2008 Victory Vision as my daily ride and my Polaris dealer in Albuquerque is my local parts source. They, the slingshot, are really cool looking in person. The dealer has 4 in stock currently if looking....
I need to get parts on Tuesday, I will stop there and take some pictures if you wish.

I saw that thing evaluated on a Motortrend like TV show. They compared it to Mattels Power Wheels in its all, hard, uncomfortable, plastics. Seems to inhale dust and dirt to its interior but hey its all water proof. Just hose it down.

Whatever makes YOU happy. I think it's a "clown car" as Robin from the tv show south beach classics would call it. And don't even get me wrong, I don't even think it's over priced compared to a side by side or other recreational vehicles of that nature. I'm an adrenaline junkie who loves toys and have a couple of my favorites, but I don't even want to test drive one and absolutely would not let someone else drive me in one. That's just me, and just sayin it's not for everyone.

Bombardier had a version out for years and yes the both of them are fugly .

heck yea!! will be looking forward to seeing them!! thanks

comments in this thread prove that - of course, it's why there are so many different vehicles - to each his/her own..

Agreed, and I was really not trying to bash it. Just not my cup of coffee ( I never drink tea) :coffee2:
