Carbon canister

Im gonna go by memory here;
None of the canister ports go to the EGR system. These are totally separate systems.
The canister has to be matched to the system. There were two or three different numbers of ports on the canisters.
Mopes of this era had a decal on the underside of the hood detailing all the vacuum hook-ups.
IIRC 73ups had a 3-port canister system. One port was hooked to the fueltank vent line. Another was hooked to the carb floatbowl vent, and the last was hooked to a venturi vacuum source. I seem to recall the hose sizes all being different and also seem to remember the canister ports being marked.Marked with a single letter, indicating their path. Further, I seem to recall the highest port was for venturi vacuum.This port went to the carb well above the throttle plates, in the venturi bore.I don't see that nipple on your carb.It was brass and near to the vacuum advance port, and you could see it protruding into the passenger venturi, as you looked down the carb bore.
The EGR valve was operated by a ported manifold vacuum source at the front of the carb. But it was delayed by at least one thermo-valve, near the top of the rad.I believe that hose with the white stripe was the source.Stretch it out towards the passenger side of the rad, there should be a thermo valve there.
That valve on the side of the aircleaner, IIRC was called NOX, and plumbed into the vacuum advance line,and it too may have run through a thermo valve,in the water jacket, on the intake, close to the stat-house.
That last nipple on the underside of the aircleaner, routes to the firewall-side of the carb to a port there on the drivers side.
I may have the thermo valves reversed in my head;but I think not.

Looking at your carb; the one going out sideways goes to the vacuum advance system.
The white striped one goes to the EGR system.
The remaining fat-boy,I think it's PCV. IDK.
I do not see a nipple for the carburetor bowl. Some systems stored the vapors in the filter housing, in which case you would have a 2-port canister, or the 3rd port could be capped.

Again, all from memory
You might have to reread this post, as I edited it several times as I remembered more details.
