I read that as it ran 14.2, and on the highway went 144 until the limiter stopped it. I doubt it was a rev limiter though - I think the cars are speed limited.
14.2 in a FWD is going pretty good. In the 80s a friend modded a 2.8L cavalier. That was top-speed-limited to 124, but if you punched the dashboard and the speedo went out, it would go way beyond that. He did it all the time...lol
