I recently picked up a set of 3.91s and now need to know what I actually need to install them. As in parts/kits not tools I have a buddy who will put them in for me. 741 suregrip currently 3.23s.
Thanks for the help

The last one I did I used a kit from northern auto parts. It had all the bearings, shims, and a new pinion seal. I used the pinion shim from my old gears and it came out perfect, but the kit had an assortment of shims for the pinion depth and the preload. Its been a while but I think it had new bolts for the ring gear and a pinion nut as well.

are these the correct parts or should I spend the extra money and get it from dr diff? Also on dr diff I need to choose which suregrip I have I believe for the bearing journal or something like that, is there an easy way to figure this out besides opening it up and checking? My duster is currently in storage on a car trailer because it keeps snowing every time I even talk about getting it out

Go dr diff you will not regret it. The last three digits on the casting number is what you want.
