That's why I wound up with (4) 225/60-15 all around with (4) 15x7 wheels with 4.50 backspacing.

If you must stagger it, yes the 235/60 should work with those 15x7 wheels on the back. You could do this:
215/65-15 front, 26.0 diameter, 8.46 section
235/60-15 rear, 26.1 diameter, 9.25 section

Another alternative for the front would be 215/60-15 (25.15 diameter, 8.46 section) but don't go any smaller than that for diameter)
