Reverse lights??????

Was this a console or column shift car? Reverse switch in 67 would have been on the shifter, not the transmission. The later NSS the two outer pins are reverse. Reverse comes up from behind in the tail harness, to the kick panel connector for that harness, and then either goes through bulkhead or to console jumper connector. White and purple.

Violet is in the kick panel connector for the lamps

The original power feed to the switch came off the wiper switch for column shifter

If you had a console look for an odd shaped connector with the white and violet

Remember, on a 4 speed car, the backup is on the transmission and therefore went through the bulkhead. On a console or column shift automatic, the backup does not go through the bulkhead originally, in 67

Unfortunately MyMopar is down.
