What cam with stock springs

We have the only cam that will work with stock springs that I am aware of. Its [email protected] lift is .450, 114 LSA for FI and 110 LSA for carb. I would not go over .475" with stock springs. 300 hp would be my best guess.

The hughes whiplash is too big for stock springs and wont work with magnum compression ratio. Vacuum signal sucks too. If you have to get springs, there are way better cams out there. We also have a cam 210 or 213 with .520" lift 110. Lots of low end, great idle and reasonable MPG. Any larger should have guides cut down. After that, you can step up to 213,215,217 and lift from.533, .547 and .555. After that, you will need longer valves and taller spring height.

All of our cams are designed by myself and Jim at Racer Brown. We both think split duration/lift is old school design and necessary for factory or EQ heads as the exhaust flows much better than LA design and not needed, just adds extra wear to valve train. I am not a fan of whiplash cams, more for choppy idle than power.
