Reverse lights??????

Ive been in under the dash lots of times,not as of late due to back. The 67 had a 4speed in it when purchased. Its now a auto. There is a plug connector with a purple and white wire connected to 2 purple wires. They are in the harness that goes up to back of cluster and i believe branch off and come down to dr.side kick panel area. I appreciate the help everyone. BTW Red, i pulled the 2 wires up myself to get them out of the way, shift linkage,exhaust.

If you had a 4 speed you are "all set" with the more modern automatic. The two fours speed reverse wires appear in the bulkhead connector. Just hook them to the two outside terminals of the transmission switch.
