The Rattacuda was born .

Thank you Karl for the update. I pm'd him for a while but didn't get a response, he hasn't been on the site in months and I know he hadn't been in good health. I miss him too. If you do speak to him, please tell him so.

I don't think that he logs onto FABO anymore... He ended up scrapping the Charger, and I think he hasn't been on since...

Oklahomacarcollecto (Bill) has disappeared also....

yes, thank you for the update on Cliff. I just knew that I never see a post from him since he used to be real active on here. Several have come and went. Just hope they are ok, Joe

120 now been home a bit lol I think its simple . Im thinking thermostat water pump . Remember we pulled it outta the weeds and put brakes and tires and carb/fresh gas . hoses Nothing more lol I didnt get her hot enough to hurt nothing so eather way we are good

the day is 85 lol Got her up to bout 215/220 before i could get her off the road one lane road no sides to pull off of just a ditch . No one would cut me a brake to get into the hood i was parked in .

One simple repair,as needed. Exactly, how I deal with long sitting projects.

Well i got her some what apart then my body told me its time to stop . The A/C stuff will not be going back on .

I say leave off the AC, its for sissys, I can tell ya ain't no sissy.

when it gets up above 105 and your in the cuda, just be sure all the windows are down and ya got good air comin in thru them!

ya can't hear the sound of the engine with AC blowin, radio blasting!.......... wait a minute... ya can't hear that slant anyway!!!!!! ( thats a joke)

Cudas ready to roll . Still need to run the valves so i didnt drive it home . But i can hop in and drive it if i have too .

Asa, I have been having a blast reading your thread. Love your Ratacuda and it looks like you love driving it and photographing it. As others have said, some GREAT photos. And I always love those lights on the cudas. You reminded me of my old Mopar mongrel, a 42 Ford 1/2 ton with plymouth 273 2 bbl and A883 4 spd. This photo is 40 yrs old, and there's a longer story, but anyway, I think your Ratacuda and my 42 would have made a good photo shoot. And yes, it was a driver too.

Well I was trying to find the back seat belts Guess what i found !............................tHE OPERATING BOOK ! Some neat info in the book . Like the delivery date was 10/23 /64. The car has never left this town if it did . She came back lol . the dealer she was shipped too is long gone . Her 1st oil change was on 1/4/65 at 1770 miles . It reads in tell 9/22/66 at 29908 miles . How cool is that ! it was just laying in the crack of the back seat . Its alittle rough but you can read it just fine a mouse got ahold of it alittle bit .
