1967 barracuda rear leaf spring hangers

I had to replace a rusted hanger on mine and ended up replacing the shackle because one stud snapped off when I tried to loosen it. So keep that in mind and you might as well replace the rubber bushings while you have it apart. Once you unbolt the shackle raise the car from the frame until the spring is in a neutral spot. Usually this is with just a little bit of weight on the tire. At this point locate the two 3/8 bolts that hold the hanger on and remove them. Work the hanger and shackle back and forth to slide it out.
