Valiant owner finally !!

The 67 Valiant you could order a 273 4bbl,4 spd 8 3/4 and all of the other options but they had no special badging. The 68 you could order a 318 4bbl,4spd and so on and also no special badging. There may have been a commando engine emblem. A guy here ordered a 68 Valiant new and wanted the Cuda 340 drivetrain but they wouldn't let him because that was a Cuda/Dart option only. But they let him order it with a 318 4bbl,4spd,8 3/4 with disc brakes and 4 doors and I didn't see any special badging on that one either. The Valiant has always been the Bastard of the a bodies and everyone always overlooked them for every other car body and it's still that way. If your curious, take a look at all the other build/resto threads and see the difference in pages/comments left on the other car bodies. It's night and day. The 67-up Valiant sedans share the same 108 WB as a Cuda so the driveline swaps right in and the valiant is the lightest and strongest of the A body line being a post car and unless your adding a big cube torque monster BB you don't really need to add frame ties, the factory did that for us by adding the post. The Valiant sedans do require a little more homework/research when looking for parts because 30% of it is sedan only and most aftermarket companies just sell parts and do very little research on what bodies their parts actually interchange with. IF you can't find something I can take the guess work out of it for you and send you in the right direction. I have been messing with 67-9 Valiants for 20 + years and my name will eventually pop up if your looking for something. I am always happy to help
