So I had the same questions/issues with my 64 Barracuda, same front end as yours. So you could put a Kelsey/Hayes set up on it or the 76 Dodge Dart big caliper (what I did). With the Big Calipers you will have to use spacers or grind down some caliper meat, and use either a different upper control arm or put in a tapered bushing on the upper ball joint. I should have put the KH set up, I forget if you will need a different upper control arm I think so or again use the tapered bushing on the control arm, I am going to put the KH on next year.
KH set up will run you around 1000 bucks, but worth it, You can use the 5.5 small bolt pattern steelies that your dog dish will fit.
I am no expert but I did research this for about a year.
