Anyone out there use one of these, if so what do you use for the water pump bypass hose?
Thanks a bunch

This one has a brass fitting with an adapter connected to the bypass hose going to the water pump. Thank you for your input.... I will check with Edelbrock..

It has a brass fitting that screws into the front of the intake? That sounds like the same fitting my intake came with.

Does yours have two fittings in the intake or one? This one has a larger brass fitting in the intake and a smaller one inside that one. Thanks

Any smaller fitting may be for the vacuum connection on the right rear (#8 runner). IIRC, the front has 3 holes: a small one on the right for the temp sensor, the big one in the middle for the big brass nipple for the bypass, and one on the left for I really don't know what, that we just plugged off. For a bypass hose, get the approximate length and the end nipples or their sizes, go to NAPA and ask for one that will fit. It's not hard to find a 90 degree hose of the right size, and then just trim it to length for a good installation.

Pulled mine out of the box the other day and it had one like this in it....

Thank you both, that picture sure isn't what I have. I was hoping the old 340 bypass hose would fit.. Thanks again

The one we got with our non-Air Gap Edelbrock had the same threads as mguner but the nipple had a hose-barb type of shape. The barbed nipple OD was a bit larger than the nipple on the water pump, so the ose bat a bit loose on the water pump nipple. but it clamped down just fine.

Mine came with a JIC type fitting, Just went to the hose shop and got a nipple with right thread. still need to trim bypass hose so it wouldn't kink.
