It wasn't the race against Ky Kelly. It was a race between a black S10 and some other NO dude on the show. You were right though. After I reviewed the tape again, he actually brakes twice. Once about 1/2 way then again a little past 3/4 of the way down the track. No spin....he was just to fast to lose, so he had to brake.

I took these screen shots to prove it. I believe what I see. RIGGED!:wack:

does anyone remember "King-B" boning the losing cars fuel filler with his pants down? That was worth the poor racing of that episode....to refresh you all's memory, that was the episode that the crew were called out to another jurisdiction and most of them either redlined or blew something and the local crew were dancing around saying that there cars were faster which was totally not the case as the winning cars were "not that fast" according to farm truck.

IMO, based on my review of the tape on that particular race. Your welcome to argue your point, as that's what these forums are for.

I'm not saying every race is rigged as I don't have proof, but what I have seen (every episode) is some races are sketchy. I saw brake lights again this week. Look for yourself if you want to believe or disbelieve.

It's TV so what do you expect? No drama = no interest right? Just ask the bitches on Dance Mom's. :D

I'm not hating on the show. As I said before, I don't like the drama but I like the racing. Too bad some or all of it is rigged. I guess it is what it is, ENTERTAINMENT!
 
I'm not saying anyone braked or didn't brake and I'm not saying whether the races are rigged or not . But if someone wanted to "let" someone else win in a race they wouldn't step on the brake . It would be as simple as lifting your right foot a little . Anyone that's ever raced knows that . Hell , I used to purposely let someone stay right behind me or right next to me so that they didn't know how fast I really was . It's all in knowing your car and knowing what to do with your right foot .

Fake drama crap. Almost as bad as *** monkey garage and all that other ****. If I wanted to watch a bunch of men act like a bunch of women, I'd watch soccer.

I can understand that. Because most stuff has been discussed and many long time members just reread and don't want to get publicly ridiculed. I have found myself arguing with some real know-it-all jack wheels. Because I put myself out there - I've been called almost everything up to being threatened to be beat up after school -LOL. ask some questions to challenge there thinking and all of a sudden your a stupid baby that doesn't listen. And for all I know this internet know it all is a 14 year old girl with a stack of her father's Mopar Muscle magazines!?? Having a good laugh. On the other hand a subject like this one is very open ended to someone's likes or dislikes. One can learn a lot about one on how they go about expressing there option? I like street outlaws, but the ice cream truck thing NO.. The dung beetle vs. the hellcat (obviously staged) I liked because like he said you can't just spend 80k at the dealership and buy something that's going to beat a street racer. (Likely)
 
Really makes no difference to me what some people say about those shows. It's just entertainment and that's how I treat it. I will continue to watch them. Just have to say it's good to have the Oklahoma crew back on T.V. after suffering through a bunch of guys talking with marbles in their mouths so bad I had a hard time understanding what they said. Besides that it seems their cars other than a couple just don't compare to the Okies in my book.

well said j par very well said. i stopped giving any info as the internet knows best not the experts who have physical experiences in the doing of it. i just start the bantering when i already know its where its going to go in 1 to 2 responses. makes for a more entertaining time. kind of a twisted mind set but hey, its the internet and serious business. lol

Exactly. I too will watch that show tonight (DVR).................and I'll do a shot every time I see brake lights. :)

I like the show and DVR them so I can watch when I have time. Since it is on TV there has to be some staging, like the road, the lights, no police, and such. Given the speed, some of the wrecks and struggle the drivers often have keeping the cars going straight, I struggle with the races themselves being fake.

ya know for all the hoopla about the races being fake. not one of you guys have ever had your brake light adjustment flicker tour brake lights as you drive down the road? you have honestly never thought about that for one second? that perhaps it is just the pedal tripping the brake light off and on??

some time people just want to hate for no other reason than to be the first hater out all the haterade clans.

Damn your reaching son. Show me some in car footage of some brake light adjustments going south and I will believe you. Not hating just pointing out what I saw and what I believe. If you read through my post you will see I am clearly not hating on the show. Only hating the fake drama. I don't buy your theory for a second though. What I saw was two hard stabs at the brake.....especially the second one.

And no, I have never had my brake light adjustment cause my tail lights to flicker when I go down the road. I drive a MOPAR not a chevy. Lastly, you call people haters, yet your hating on those who have a different opinion than you.

I enjoy it for what it is, entertainment. So I'm not taking sides here. But how many times have you seen people drive down the road with their brake light on or flickering because they have their left foot on the brake pedal?

Sure. That could happen.....a drag racer who keeps his foot on the brake while he's racing. That guy never won a Wally. LOL. If it makes you all feel better I can retract my statement. Say it was a smudge on my TV that made those brake lights appear. Maybe it was a weather balloon or swamp gas that made me believe I saw brake lights.

I still watch the show and like it.....just to keep things clear. It's the fake drama I can do without. How about some real street outlaws....
