1965 Barracude rocker moulding clips

You can get them from Laysons. They're not exact, but with a slight swipe over the bench grinder they work fine. They are pricey.
 
I use ones for a 67 GTX. They may be the ones Laysons's sells as they require a slight tune up by removing a slight bit of material from the bottom edge on the belt sander to fit. And they are pretty pricey...
 
I got some universal clips at my local auto fastener store. Au-ve-co products part number 8581, you just trim to fit.
 
I have a bag of original 65 clips if you're interested in used! There's enough to do both sides!! $20 plus the shipping!! PM if you're interested!!

No sir, they are not! There is no rocker moulding on 66 Valiants, but the 66 Cuda rocker is about 4" wide and takes a hang clip on the top and a button plug fastener at the bottom, whereas the 64-5 tocker is about 2" wide and takes a snap clip that fills the entire width!! I'll picture both later for you!
 
Anyone have a photo of the correct clips. I dismantled my car 20 yrs. ago and don't have anything on hand anymore. Car is finally painted and in process.
 
Along the lines of our present discussion, Most of my clips for my 65 barracuda rocker molding trim are still on the car. How do I get the center plug out in order to remove the clips without damaging them. Any ideas, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link and photo. Do you have any photos of them on the car showing spacing and how many? I will soon be installing trim after disassembling 20 yrs. ago and obviously don't remember and don't have photos.

To remove the center plugs on those nylon clips....you can drill a small hole in the center of the plug and start a small screw in the hole, then pull the plug out with vise-grips or pliers. If that doesn't work, you can drive the plug all the way thru the clip then remove the clip. Replacement plugs are available to re-install the clip when you're ready.
