My friend parted out a 1970 Challenger 340 T/A back in the 80's (Edit: 1972 Dodge Challenger 340 4-speed). He put the seats in his 71 Nova SS and still has the car. Now he is restoring the SS and wants to sell the seats. They have the rails and everything attached to them still. He wants to sell them to put the money into restoring his car and asked me how to ask for them. They are pictured below, what are they worth, in this condition?

Those are not 1970 seats, these have the small button & the integral hinge covers, so they are mid 1971 or newer.

Pull the backs off to see if they have separate spring baskets inside, if not then they are 1972 or newer.

I just talked to him, he is pretty sure they were 70. He thought about it a little more and believes they were 72. The car had 340 and a pistol grip.

The seats were not T/A specific I dont believe. If it was 2016 they would have it embroidered on the headrest ala SRT. Alaskan _TA can give you specifics, there was not a whole trainload of difference besides the obvious head, intake, carb, valve assy, G 60 tires and bigger wheels etc. There was a guy around my way a few years ago with a roadrunner hood and trunk. Wanted a kings ransom. I guess you know why. They were from "a hemi car"! Had hemi specific metallurgy and what not.
