Discrepancy between production numbers and VIN for 65 Barracuda

Hello,

This is my first post and not sure how to create a new post, so i am attaching to a similar post to see if anybody can help - Thanks

I have a 64 barracuda titled and has a vin number of 52515353

The vin on the door matches the dash and the original production sheet matches the tag in the engine compartment. The tag on the door is original and never removed from the car. But the vin number doesn't match the 64 barracuda. It build date is 9/9/64

Any help on this would be great
