She possibly has gall stones or appendicitis. She is 64. My extended family is in Texas while I am stationed in Georgia.
My sister just told me what my father told her.

If ever I were to question my parents' judgement, it would be their ability to error on the safe side of health.

They repeatedly have tried to perform the physical activity of healthy young people such as swinging a pick axe (mom without stretching, etc.-hurt her back, 4 months problems) while dad, 70, swung an axe last summer in the heat of San Antonio without drinking enough water. After complaining of chest pains, a numb arm-his coworkers forced him into a hospital.

Anyways, I would prefer mom went to the hospital tonight since she is in so much pain. My family hates the hospital fees enough to risk death. My grandparents refused hospital care, I did not expect my parents to behave similarly.

Thank you so much.

prayers sent, you're a good man to worry about your mom because in life we only get one each of MOm and DAd and they cant be replaced.

Hope your mom recovers and comes out ok

I have gall stones and for what I understand it's not a big deal it's a simple operation but my prefers goes out to your mom but I'm pretty sure she will be ok

Been through that with my wife and my mother.

Both gall bladders but with different symptoms.

Mom ended up with a 1/2 inch scar plus two BB size ones.

Wife two years later has barely a BB size scar.

Technology.

Good wishes.

Sending prayers for your parents at this time.... and hoping for a speedy recovery back to great health for them!

Well, I guess the Tylenol is less affective now, mom is now in the hospital getting ready for appendectomy (?). She thought appendicitis would hurt more; she didn't think that she had it due to lack of pain.

I doubt if I am half as strong as the two previous generations-boggles & dumbfounds my mind the physical kamikazes they are/were. Like those people you read about that want to go back to work after major surgery-only death stops them, nothing else.

Good to hear she came out ok. I am the same because that is the way I was raised I cant wait to get back to work after surgery a few weeks ago. Doc says he will let me know more in June.

Great news!! I'm glad to hear she is doing better!! Prayers sent for her speedy recovery!
