17" Cast Aluminum Rallye Wheels

Jegs has a picture on a Barracuda. Which is probably the only A-body they'll fit. With a 17x8 and 4.25" of backspace (-6 offset) the narrowest tire you can really run on them without stretching the tire is a 225. And with those wheel specs a 225 on one of those rallye wheels would stick out an extra 1/4" compared to the 275/35/18's I'm running on my Duster (now with a Demon front end). Needless to say, I didn't leave that much room. That's not gonna work on a Duster or a Dart unless you're at 4x4 height. Barracuda's have a little more room, but not a ton. The Year One Magnum wheels are 17x8 with 4.5" of backspacing, that's 0 offset. That would work a little better. But it still wouldn't let you run anything other than a 225, the narrowest tire that will fit on a 17x8" rim. The backspace's are really set up for B and E bodies.

Here's the picture. Not sure what's going on here, photo retouching magic or what not, because the math doesn't work. Either that or it's running some spindle/brake set up that narrows the track width. If it's real it has to be narrower than the 73+ spindles, and still be BBP.
