A saw a set in person today. Holy smolly, they look great. I want a set for my 71 Barracuda.

Jegs has a picture on a Barracuda. Which is probably the only A-body they'll fit. With a 17x8 and 4.25" of backspace (-6 offset) the narrowest tire you can really run on them without stretching the tire is a 225. And with those wheel specs a 225 on one of those rallye wheels would stick out an extra 1/4" compared to the 275/35/18's I'm running on my Duster (now with a Demon front end). Needless to say, I didn't leave that much room. That's not gonna work on a Duster or a Dart unless you're at 4x4 height. Barracuda's have a little more room, but not a ton. The Year One Magnum wheels are 17x8 with 4.5" of backspacing, that's 0 offset. That would work a little better. But it still wouldn't let you run anything other than a 225, the narrowest tire that will fit on a 17x8" rim. The backspace's are really set up for B and E bodies.

Here's the picture. Not sure what's going on here, photo retouching magic or what not, because the math doesn't work. Either that or it's running some spindle/brake set up that narrows the track width. If it's real it has to be narrower than the 73+ spindles, and still be BBP.

I saw them on a 71 Charger, looked fantastic. Not sure about the A-bodies, but I should be okay on my 71 Barracuda.

I'm gonna buy a set for my Duster. Wheel openings can be stretched!

Hey if you don't mind rolling the fender lips and pushing the fenders out just to run 225's knock yourself out. If I was going to do that much work I'd be running 285's in the front.

ive seen 17 inch ralley look alikes on A bodies before
to me, the tire to rim ratio is off and it looks yuck

This ! I agree daiymirage, I am hoping I can find 14'' wheels for my 66 Valiant sedan. I like the tire to rim ratio on the 14 better then the 15's on my early A .

The 14" wheels are easy to find compared to the tires. And if you want tires that actually grip you can pretty much forget finding anything DOT legal in 14 or 15".

I don't mind doing whatever it takes. It's a factory /6 car that's getting a 5.7 Hemi and a 545RFE.......so a little bit of work to make tires not rub doesn't bother me. Once I do it, nobody will be able to tell without a tape measure anyway. :)

I'd be on board for custom size (18x9) & (18x10) with custom offset. I'd be willing to pay for it as well.
