Does anyone know of a bracket to put disc brakes on an 8 3/4 using only Mopar calipers and rotors, maybe using something later model for calipers and rotors,I want disc but I don't want Chevy or Ford parts on my Mopar,I'm just funny that way.thanks

94-97 Intrepid front rotors are a good fit that may require slight turning of the flange or inside the hat. Not sure what the Jeeps use on the later 8.25 but that should be a place to look.

I went with the speedway brackets and Cadillac calipers just for availability and E brakes hook easily.

Ok thanks I just don't want GM on my Mopar I'll look at the Jeep's and intrepid rotors thanks

74-75 Chrysler imperial had rear disc with a drum E brake in the rotor hat.
Probably uses obsolete rotors today?

Yes, I did on my Dart. Literally a bolt in with all MOPAR parts and E-brake. The Calipers are the same as the 73 and later A-Body and are readily available.

Thanks,I emailed the guy to see if he would sell just the brakes, shipping would cost a fortune from San Francisco to TN.for a complete rear

Let me know if I can help you by getting the whole thing and I can take it apart to send you just what you need minus that heavy axle. That should reduce the shipping significantly.

I just need the rear brake assembly ,rotors, calipers, brackets,e brake cables

Yeah, I get take it apart and just saend you that. My metal recycler guy will be happy to take the housing away. Let me know

It is not mine. Contact the ad on Craigslist to make the deal with him and I can pick it up, send you the parts that you need (shipping on you) and the housing will get scrapped.

Stay far away from Imperial rear disc brakes. 74, 75. They are impossible to find parts for and they dont remake any parts for them. If you have to have Rear disc Brakes, then try and go with ones from a late 90s jeep 8 1/4. There are some threads on here about that swap.

Personally I'd go for the Jeep brakes, widely available and inexpensive
!

Thanks but I've already located a couple sets of rotors for back ups on imperial setupill use Jeep setup on my 68 Cuda driver

After looking at the Jeep stuff (non vented rotors) I realized why I went with the Intrepid front rotors and Cadillac calipers. Overkill I'm sure but vented is nice....

You'll find Dana-Spicer parts and GM, Ford and Mopar.... and those darn Saginaw power steering pumps.....
