No I don't think so Jeff. They squeeze together tight when installed. I have always had to pound them into place with a rubber mallet, using the outer caps.
I leaning towards spreading the chassis clips until the arm drops in....I don't want to assemble it without the end caps....
Whats the best way to do this....a BMFH? Make some kind of spreader?
