What is a respectable 1/8th mile time

I've always shot for 7.50's. anything 11.50 or 7.35 and faster requires a cage. My best is 7.88 in the 1/8. going backwards with a 4 speed but even low 8's would be fine by me. will be way more fun rowing anyway.
