it's two hinges, a latch and a catch - your wife is wrong, you can do this... yes, it can be a royal PITA but it is very doable.. back-up and investigate. Keep an eye on clearances and tolerances as you SLOWLY close the door - - you may have to do this a few times but the answer is there...

Well I missed the 1st cruise of the season, would like to take the Cuda out for a drive this long weekend, but I do like having the door close, (minor detail), frustrated but not down and out.
Latch and hardware looks the same on both side and operates the same except for the closing.
