E body opportunity has led to putting both of my cars up for grabs, but this is no fire sale. I spent quite some time looking for both of these cars, and you will not likely find a comp for either one in the near future. I also know this is not the BEST time to sell a car, but here we go:

1 of about 20 M Code notchbacks known to exist in BB-Dave's 440 'cuda registry. NOM engine and buildsheet. Non-numbers but correct 727 transmission. 489 Case 8 3/4 3.55 Sure Grip. Originally F5 Green with green vinyl top, console auto and green standard interior, and is a factory undercoated car. Small amount of body rust and quarters and rockers, but floors are really good. Correct sloppy driver's side motor mount. 10 in drums all around, and correct left handed studs on drivers side.

Repainted back in the 1980s when it was also cut for fenderwells by the owner that built the engine. Extensive ownership history back to 1972 when it was bought off of a repo lot in East St. Louis.

A few "day two" deviations from stock like high rise intake with Edelbrock carb, slightly lumpy cam, 26 in radiator, Accel coil and Mallory dual point distributor. From conversations with the previous owners less than 5k miles on a fresh .030 over build. Incorrect 699 oilpan that was extended for additional capacity. Heads were gone through by previous owner but they were not milled from checking mating surfaces. New Spectra tank and sending unit. Car is an excellent driver, makes great power, and can be enjoyed until you want to take it down for a season or two and do a full restoration back to the way it was built. I have put about 750-1000 trouble free miles on the engine myself.

Some correct parts included in the sale like original exhaust manifolds, 893 oilpan, master cylinder heat shield, vinyl top trim, correct intake and carb core, spare restored wheel well trim, spare trunk lid, and date matched set of correct 14x5.5 steelies. Can e-mail pics and history.

Asking $29.5k OBRO. Contact me at 69CudaFan@gmail.com or (619)997-6396. Car is in San Diego, CA. I would love to see this car go to a talented restorer who can take it back to the way it was, and don't want it to go to just anyone.

Start 2016 with the best driver/project you can get your hands on that would be a straight forward resto!

Open to good offers, and willing to answer any additional questions. For those that have written and called already, please be realistic. I am still gathering small odds as ends for the M Code, but won't jack the price up. I will keep the price the same.

Both cars may be at the Spring Fling if everything works out and they are still available.

To answer a couple of questions:

The interior is original. It was recovered over the original green with black vinyl that was later removed. As it currently sits, the door panels are green, as is the headliner and kick panels. Dash pad is prefect, and it is black, as is the dash frame.

All gauges work, and there is an extra oil and temp gauge next to the 8 track player.

I am going to continue to gather parts to make it easier to restore when the time is right.

340 Vert is up for grabs and has met the reserve at this point...this one might hit eBay next week! Stay tuned!

I assure you that you will not find another M Code ANYWHERE at a price point that I am offering this one for, especially with the unobtainable exhaust manifolds.

Did I mention it comes with a buildsheet?

Where are all those concours OE restorers? There is NO better project that is able to be driven until the time of your choosing for a full blown resto...

If it does not sell, come lay hands on it at Spring Fling ***!

Car will hit eBay with a Buy It Now/Best Offer on Sunday.

In the meantime, I keep gathering parts to help the next owner. Latest score is an original trunk finish panel restored by All Trim. Nice piece.

Stuff I have:
SBP Date correct wheels (fresh from powdercoat)
Replacement trunk lid (and now trunk finish panel)
893 Oilpan and pickup (needs massaging)
Brake master heat shield
Original Exhaust manifolds
2806178 Intake (Date correct)
4618S Carb Core (Date correct)(needs love from Harms Auto)
Restored wheel opening trim and hardware
Excellent turn signals and lenses
Vinyl top molding
Green kick panels

Looking at sourcing suspension bushings/rebuild stuff, Bilsteins, and a 8 3/4 rebuild kit from Dr. Diff.

This is the pinnacle A body resto project!

I am sure I am forgetting something.

No reserve? The Ebay says reserve not met, is that reserve the 10K starting price?

Car was offered with no reserve previously. There is a reserve on the current auction. Very reasonable for a car that is more rare than a 70 Hemicuda and will hold its own performance-wise. If it sells great,if not I will keep gathering parts. Got feelers out for the original tranny.

C'mon FABO, where are all of the resto folks? This one is one of the best candidates, and you can DRIVE it until you are ready.

Listening to good, realistic offers. Open to any questions. There is also an option to purchase the car without the parts I have gathered (though I would include the original exhaust manifolds and master cylinder heat shield).

Still haven't given up on finding the original transmission.

We can talk about the remaining parts I have gathered as an "a la carte" deal if you want some of those, but I have to recoup my losses somehow.
