New Member, Just Bought a '64 Barracuda
Hey guys! My name is Kurt, and I just bought my first A-body, which is also the first Mopar I've had since I was about 18.
It's a '64 Barracuda with a 273 and a 4 speed. I found it on eBay, it looks pretty solid, and I'm picking it up Father's Day weekend...which is pretty sweet since that'll be my first Father's Day and my father is making the drive down the NJ with me to grab it.
Right now, the idea is to keep the outside basically as-is but fix the rust, clean up the interior, and do a mild build on the 273. Eventually I'd like to build a 340 to stick in there, but I've got all sorts of time to do that.
Anyway, I'll probably have dumb questions and be looking for some parts, so I'm pretty thrilled this forum is here. Glad to be aboard!
