Ok. I noticed a question on the eBay ad regarding the carburetor. When I got this car the 340 manifold and 4bbl carb and trans were in the trunk along with another 4bbl intake and another 3 speed trans. Why it has a 2bbl car and slant six air cleaner on it is beyond me. I bought 4 tires to hold air and paid a fair chunk of change for a title. I listed it through my buddies shop since it sees more traffic.

I crawled under there, damn near snapped my neck, matched the numbers of the VIN to the motor, trans, rad support door, dash, and package tray. In NC the DMV inspector did the same to produce a title.

VS29H in VIN. Numbers on block on passenger side match body number, match trans case, match rad support, match package tray. What I need to go and check is the trans code on the fender tag. Car is a special order 3 speed, no rally dash, sharktooth grill.

May be wrong, but do I see an AC bracket on the engine, without any other noticeable AC provisions, firewall hoses/blower/vents?

You see correctly. I think when this car died someone tried to get it going with what they had in hand. Hence the 2bbl intake and super six air cleaner.

Block stamp. Can't get a camera in there for the vin stamp, but I peeped it.

Bump. A lot of interest, not a lot of cash. Trade offers on and off eBay for everything under the sun. May consider a B body trade if it doesn't go by July. $3500 cash gets it.

I sent a question to the Ebay seller but I see my answer in this reply. Good luck with the sale.....

I hear ya. Not giving it away. For what I see other cars go for and what I see parts go for I am going to stick to my guns. Surely worth more in parts but I would rather not do that.

I appreciate it, but not a parts guy. Never going that route again. Tried it in 71 and 76 and was more work than I had time for. Going to continue with Demon, car remains for sale with clear title.

Need to finish the Demon and just no time for this. Car need complete restoration but is all there and numbers matching. Clear NC title. PM for questions. Auction on eBay with starting bid of $1972

Realistically how much are you looking at for the car? How much bad rust is on the car and frame and do you have any parts or panels to go with the car?

Frame is fine. I have no panels for car at this time. Knee deep in my Demon. I have almost $400 just in getting a clear title. Price is as above. I chose not to alter the appearance and apparently that makes it worth less. Not going to part it. Only put it up for sale to move Demon along quicker. It will remain for sale until I build it, at which time I will start a thread. Would entertain actual cash offers with added trade of parts I can use (core motors and transmissions). Here is how I look at rust. If it is through and through the entire section comes out and the entire pan is replaced. There is nothing that won't need addressed on this car, I can assure you of that, but it is complete, numbers matching, and titled. Shipping to your neck of the woods would make it a deal-breaker in my opinion. Thanks for your inquiry. More thank likely I will build this car in 2017 and that is ok with me. PM for further discussion.
