Oh, man. That's gonna be a pain. When I did the hood on my 64, I did a full strip down, so I had the torsion bars out too and they were a nightmare to get back in. I ended up installing the hinges on the pivot first, then bolting the hood so it sat off the bars. I used that time to adjust the alignment, Then I had to use nylon rope on either side of the torsion bar mount to pull it back while someone held the hood up as high as they could. Good luck, man.
