Ellusive Wagon Tailpipe Installed
Not a huge deal, but I FINALLY found a true replica of the wagon tailpipe...different from sedan as it has right side exit just before bumper. The side exit was obviously to help avoid fumes being drawn up through the open window of the tailgate. I recall the position of the exhaust pipe from my father's original '66 wagon while growing up and knew it was wrong on my '66 wagon. This past weekend, I had the right pipe installed (found at Accurate Exhaust) and I can honestly say I notice less fumes...not to mention enjoy knowing it is right.
I thought other Valiant & Dart wagon owners might find useful.
