Both yes I could prob with with rough if not spending a lot can Always replace if they are rough in the future
 
Unless you're building a show queen, weigh the cost of those shields/knuckle slicers against the cost of heat proof wires. I sold the 1 spare NOS right hand heat shield I had hear for 80.00 about 5 years ago.
 
ya i figure even something i could use as a template and i could cut some thin metal to make them also. I have new heat plugs and wires but would look nice.
