In a recession you only have one slice of bread for your sandwich instead of the usual two.
In a depression you remember how good that one slice tasted.

Recession is when your neighbour gets laid off depression is when you get laid off.

Recession is when you buy the shitty beer. Depression is when you don't buy any.

A Recession is when you get laid off, Depression is what happens after that....

Recession is when you can have an erection and no one to share it with. Depression is when you find someone to share it with and it won't stand up.

Or so I've been told.

I submit that there are precious few on this site that know what a real depression is. I know I don't.

Visit Honduras or Guatemala. With all our problems I wouldn't move anywhere else. God bless the USA.

I totally agree RRR. I have heard stories from my parents, but I don't think anyone can truly comprehend it unless they have lived it.
