Hey guys, I just bought a 1969 Barracuda fastback Formula S and came here for some help and advice. Doing research, it has no fender tag or build sheet that I could find, however based on whats left I have found out this is a very rare and optioned car. It was originally a 383 auto console (one of 272 made in 1969). It was originally scorch red, no A/C, fold down rear seat, door edge protectors, undercoated, sport package, basic radio group, remote control drivers mirror, passenger mirror and I'm still discovering stuff every day. I'm only 19 years old and have much to learn, so anyone with advice or knowledge about these cars I would love to talk to. Thanks for looking.

If this car did come with a right door mirror, and if the original door is still there....
Exact measurements of where that mirror was mounted would benefit this forum to some extent.

It is the original door, what would you like me to measure and I'd be happy to post measurements. I guess there's no true way to tell if it's original but I can add pics and measurements if that would help anyone.

Hole locations from longest forward tip of door and square line down from belt molding. With pics holding tape measure in place would be awesome ( too much to ask ? ).
You might also confirm that drivers/left door mirror is or is not in same positon on this year model.
We already know drivers door mirror is different place on 67 model. 68 and 69 may be the same.

Assuming that mine came originally with the passenger mirror it appears they are both in the same position. I took two photos of each, let me know if you need different photos of different angles or measurements.
