mine has been a long work in progress and has added up over the years, just a quik guess of about 20-25000 in buying stuff, from cage, body parts and engine.

damn that's light for a big block car.got any pics of it? what kind of times are you ruining? I got my 73 dart down to 10.49 in the 1/4 at my weight. would of loved to of seen what it would of ran at your cars weight.

3650 with a full tank of gas and me in it. It's a 68 Cuda FB and is a full dress street car. Engine is an iron headed SB, trans is a 904, rearend is an 8-3/4

2850 without driver. All steel. All factory glass. Full carpet without insulation backing. Both factory bucket seats, no back seat, back seat area carpeted. 360/904/Dana60. Race front disc brakes, rear drums.5 gal fuel cell, 6 point roll bar, subframe connectors and caltrac leaf springs.

'70 Duster weighs 2800, still has steel trunk lid, steel hood, and steel bumpers. Could probably lose another 200 from that stuff.

My 72 BB Scamp drag car weighed 1678 lbs front axle 1338 rear axle. Total 3016. No interior, 12 pt cage, single seat 446/727/8 3/4. Glass bumpers, hood , lexan all around except rear window was original. oh yeah, that was without my lard ***.

74 Dart Sport. All Aluminum 572 - Turbo 400 - Strange 60. Wilwood brakes all the way around. Alterkation tubular front end with manual rack and pinion. No heater box or wipers. 10 pt cage. All steel car 3,470 with a full tank of fuel without me.

I run small block iron head 360 and a 904 trans and yes still have the steel bumpers. Full 10 point cage and the hood and trunk lid has had the reinforcements all cut out its just the shell and pinned on. No interior just a fiberglass race seat. Frame has been tied in. It is pretty light looking at fiberglass now to try and lighten it up even more. I want to upgrade from 8 3/4 to a Dana so that will add some weight.

Pretty much the same as mine except I have a 5.7 hemi aluminum heads and a small block 727 trans. Also have subframe connectors but they can't weigh that much. The 5.7 must weigh more than the small block. Also have Dana 60, about 25 lbs more I think.

'73 Duster, 360, 4sp, full interior, full fuel load 3180 on cert. truck scale at work.

69 Dart, street/strip, full interior with Kirkey front seats, 6 point mild steel bar, all factory glass, heater, vents , wipers, glass hood and front bumper. With my aluminum headed 408, 727, Dana 60 and my 175 weighed 3260. I'll guess it's 3300 now with the new R1 434.
