They are a stainless steel vertical bar. Hit you right in the middle of your back and will "brand" you in the summer time. I left mine off when I reupholstered my 68 Formula S. Not for sale if I still have them, just describing them. I do not think they were special to that car, maybe Plymouth in 68 and 69?
