I have a 68 Dart 270. I put the engine, 4 speed, and 8 3/4 from a 72 Duster 340 into the Dart.
I also put some Cragars on it. Does this qualify as a stock (3 or less modifications), or as modified (4 or more modifications)? This will be my first trip to Chrysler Nationals. Thanks FABO.

Modified stock.... like jumbo shrimp or white chocolate......

Does it appear mostly stock like it was made that way? If so, go with the stock class

Doesn't really matter....unless youre trying to compete for something. If youre just doing it for the parking spot who cares.

Not competing. It looks like stock except for the Cragars. Thanks.

My car is visibly modified, but I've registered as stock before just so I could park at our club tent. I don't expect to win anything in primer anyway.

are you that worried about an award? if not put it in either class and enjoy the show.

it won't do well in stock because its not stock. won't do well in modified because its not modified enough.

The people with cars in the show vote on the winning show cars. Not a group of concourse Judges, i vote for cars i like ,I never count how many modifcation are on the car. I guess some people do. You dont vote for all the cars in the show there are to many , you have different areas of cars to vote on. Its fun ,but does take some time.
