I recently got a rear wiring harness for my 1969 barracuda fastback. It has all needed wires except for the extension for the wires that run to the dome lights in the pillars. Does anyone know of anyone that makes a harness that plugs directly into this one and all I have to do is plug it in, put light bulbs in it and its ready to go? I am not able to find any and my old ones were cut and removed by previous owner so I'm not sure what the extensions look like. I added a picture of the connectors the cables need to plug into. Thanks in advance for help.

Well assuming this is for the drivers side pillar, I would still need a harness of some sort to go to the passenger side.

Dome lamp wiring should be in the rear body harness. The one socket shown is a dome lamp socket.

I need to look at a 69 body schematic. There may be additional wiring not included in the rear body harness.

Ok heres your answer. Your missing a small 2 wire harness for the other dome lamp. But you knew that. It will be a light socket like the one shown in your thread, one yellow wire, one pink wire. These go to a female plug that plugs into the male plug you also have shown in your thread.

Maybe somebody parting out a 67/68/69 fastback here has this short harness. Check parts car listings. Its a shame it wasnt serviced in with the new wiring you got from year one. I think i remember it being like this on a 68 fastback i parted way back in 1988.

The wiring for a trunk lamp has a male end and a female end, and goes in between the plugs connecting the RH dome lamp to the LH dome lamp. Just in case you decide to run one later.

Have you tried contacting M&H? They make perfect reproduction wiring harnesses for classic mopars. The M&H harnesses are sold by Year One.

Reproduction Wiring Harnesses for America's Muscle Cars

I see "rear lamp harness Barracuda Fastback" in their catalog. Not sure if it has the dome light harness you would need to contact them and ask.

Evans is another source. I bought AC and Trans harness from them years ago. Quality not as good as M&H but can make harnesses that are otherwise not available:

M&H supplies directly to year one. They wont even talk to anybody on the outside, however if you can explain to them that the rear lamp body harness is missing a piece they can probably fix the issue, or being that it is a small 2 wire harness with dome light socket at one end and plug at the other, just find it used here, clean up the contacts, check the wires for cracked insulation and go with it.

The body rear lamp harness for my 67 notchback didnt come with a domelight harness at all, just the pink and yellow wires to the male plug. I am required to use my dome lamp harness over. Maybe M&H is assuming this as well simply because this smaller 2 wire harness is usually undamaged, and can be reused like a dome lamp harness in a coupe. Now his is completely missing, so he has to either find another one, or make up his own.

If you dont mind it being used, try barracudakid, woody30, whitepunkonnitro, and ABCuda for this part. All 4 are good members and sellers here, and may have it.

I just might have what you are looking for. Let me check. I might not be able to check until Saturday. I will let you know what I find

Okay, I don't care if it's used as long as it works, yea I have already bought a steering column and a wood steering wheel from barracudakid.

I have a dome light from a 67 notch back. Not sure if it will work for you. I will dig for it.

Domelight from a coupe wont work, bulb sockets are way different. If everythings been cut out that was there, he may not have even an original socket to splice back in.

I went to my local John Deere dealer. They had connector ends from which I made my own connecting harness.

Yes and No! They (M&H) will re-produce any harness for you that is not already available from Year One or Classic (Assuming the Classic ones are really M&H)! They have the template for the passenger side fir sure! I sent them my original and they sent me back a new one and the old.

Great company!! If you want factory wiring you will find no better IMO. Their shipping prices on components they sell for pennies is high though!

well I guess then I'll wait and see if Cawley has what I need, if not I may email M&H and see how much theirs would be. Do you remember how much you paid?

I dot remember the actual cost, but I believe I have a pic of the their part number.

Yea if you have the part number just incase that'd be great

The reason I replaced mine was the wire was very stiff, painted and the bulb socket was hard and cracked! I think most originals will be similar!

well the previous owner cut and removed mine and ruined the rest of the wiring so I don't have don't have to worry about my original being cracked or stiff lol
