led all the old insulation and sound deadener out from under the cowl, and cleaned/painted some stuff. Installed new sound deadener and firewall insulation. Installed rebuilt heater box. yesterday I restored the Emergency brake assy. Will install that today and try to find someone to help me swing the restored dash assy back in the car. Hope to have it running again next week

Got the Dashboard and the Steering Column back in the GTS yesterday. Bolted down the seats again, And promptly Fired it right up. Had been a month or so will Dash/Htr Box/column rebuild. Got the factory exhaust pipes and tailpipes from Don's Custom Ex in Ohio. Just need to decide on Mufflers now and fix an oil leak at the sending port for the mechanical gauge, I have on it for testing.

Got some things done in the last few weeks. Bought the correct head and tail pipes from Don's custom Exhaust in Ohio. Bought my own Dynomax Ultra Flows. Sounds great, but I haven't been able to take it for a ride up to speed to check for drone. Also got the new windshield installed. Now to build the Doors and install them and front fenders and grill, so I can drive all the bugs out before it goes to Body and Paint. Here's also a pic of the temporary down pipes I had on it for Engine and Cam break in.

wow - if it weren't for the reflection n the windshield - you'd swear it was even there... it's all lookin' real good Mitch!

Just took the new doors outside and spayed the inside of them with Bedliner. This week I'll build em up and get them on there , along with the new fenders and hood and front stuff.

looks like ya need a carpet in that bad boy!

I just finished putting one in mine not too long ago. the front was molded so it went in like a dream.

getting the rest around the roll cage and over the tubs was a bit of a challenge. but we got it done. also came with custom stitched floor mats, think I paid around $300-$350 for it.

but I did the same thing looks like your doing, install everything that needs to go in the inside first then put the carpet in last so you don't have foot prints all over it

Drug out all the door parts and started cleaning them up for install in the already bodyworked shells. I'm pretty pleased with how the chrome and stainless around the ventglass turned out, using 000 Steel Wool. Looks like I got a day or so of cleaning/blasting/painting for most of the inside door parts. Nothin but Time...Right ?

Exhaust looks like a pretty good fit. I went with an Accurate system.

Finally back to making some progress. Had to quit taking requests for sidejob car repairs. Drivers door is assembled, and today I will do the Passenger door. I think the original hinges are good , but I'll know for sure when I pull the Rusty doors tomorrow.

The door hinges on my HT is replaced with ones off a Scania semi. I think they're a tad beefier than stock. :D

Well the door hinges weren't tight enough to suit me, after I blasted them. So now I'm waiting on a hinge repair kit for them. Thanks Jeff at 521 Restorations, Also got some new window cranks from him. The weatherstripping for the doors and the end door pieces were in such great shape, That I merely had to scrub them clean and install new clips, which I had a spare bag of. Hopefully get the hinges done by the weekend. Progress is Progress !!
