Hey all I have a quick question I would like an opinion on from some of you with old car experience. The previous owner of my car was building it for racing and it currently has a built 360 in it, and I one day have plans to put a 383 back in it since that's what it came with. Anyways I attached a picture of the current radiator/ fan set up and I wondered if this is really any better than the stock radiator they came off the floor with in 1969 (I like the look of the original much better than the current one so if I wasn't going to have much of a performance loss I was going to try to find an original or even buy a reproduction original looking one to install). I appreciate any comment or suggestions. Thanks.

I saved up the money and got a new 033 from GlenRay. 68 3-core unit. I have no issues with cooling.

One day I will find a good rebuildable 065 that our cars originally came with, but could not wait to find one to drive again.

Having the inlets and outlets in the correct orientation is important. the BB 68 or 69 radiator has the outlet on the driver side and inlet is between center and the driver side. This will effect your small block you have now at (least on the inlet side). Glad I am not in your shoes. If what you have is functional, you may want to keep using it until you get ready to put a 383 back in.

Alright thanks for the advice.

The originals are expensive if you can find one. Used or new Id go with a after market radiator & be done with it. I am
