I did not remove the tone ring on mine. Some people had to because it hit but mine did not hit so I left it.

ok, I took my donor rear apart it has a 3.55 ring and pinion but the carrier looks like an open with spider gears, but both wheels turn same direction so is this considered a trak loc,and if i understand this 3.55 carrier should bolt right in.
