Is there a difference application for these 2 clutch forks?

image.jpeg The one in my SB Duster looks like the one pictured except it has doesn't have the hole drilled in it because the end broke off. The slot is for a spring mount. The spring goes from the clutch fork to the z bar to keep the adjustable rod snug against both sides. I don't know about the other fork. I could have used the one on the right about 3 months ago.
