Aligning sides of Hood on Duster

Ok, need body guys. Just put freshly painted hood on. I have a bigger gap on the drivers side. and no space on the pass side where the hood buts up against the fenders. Need to shift the whole hood over to the right. Is there any adjustment on the hinge? Thanks
 
There should be a little adjustment available through the fender after loosening all of the top bolts.
 
set hood gap to the cowl paying attention to front hood - fender alignment then adjust fenders as needed to hood two people makes it easier takes few attempts
 
Ok, so loosen the fender bolts and just push the fender out a little. Fender lined up to the door perfect right now.
 
I had hood issues as well. pin on glass hood solved that issue. A body Hood hinges are not the greatest
 
you can tweak it a little by grabbing the hood in front and man handle it a bit
 
I have the same problem on my Scamp. Only a lot worse. The hood touches on the passenger side, wont even close, and is about 3/4" away on the driver side. The lip that rolls over on the edge of the fender on passenger side is stopping it from moving any further out too. I think my only option to make it look correct, from the outside anyway, is to trim the lip off so the fender will be able to slid. Ive also considered bolting the hinges to the car on its pins some how so then the hood could be shimmed over. The PO made new upper fender wells and I think that may be the issue.
 
as a sode note, if your hood fits before you take it off, drill is 1/8 in hole at the hood hinge thru to hood. very un noticeable and use that t put hood back WHERE it was before yo took it off.
like said, align at cowl first, the cowl won't move. from there the hood can be adjusted at hinges, the fenders, and door can be adjusted.

shove it over.
 
Suggestions did not work. I loosened up the fender bolts and the fender did not move at all.
