Posting is for a 72 dart swinger. Car has a lot of potential to be something great. This is an H code car and comes with a 68 date code 318 with edelbrock performer intake. Engine needs a rebuild. Car is a factory automatic with a 904 trans appears to be the original trans. Car has the factory original interior that is in decent shape for its age. Factory radio, headliner, and door panels. Panels were cut for speakers unfortunately. Car is really straight has no rust in the quarters or wheel wells, infact the only rust I see is around the rear window and a silver dollar size rust bubble on the driver side roof pillar. Car has a 70 dart hood on it now but I have a 72 hood that is included. Car has the small bolt pattern with cragar wheels. Rare kelsey hayes front disc brakes. Car was originally a AC/heater car but the guts are gone. Hook ups are still there and the car is also has power steering. Trunk is the only part of the car that has rust through 6"x"1 line rusted through on both sides of the trunk. Grille is in decent shape could be refurbished easily. Car has all the glass and trim for the windows. This car would make a great rebuild project. I have the title in hand no back fees registered in my name and is on no-op. 2k or best offer. Please shoot me any questions you may have and I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. I also have a freshly worked over disassembled Magnum 360 engine I just got back from the machine shop I would include for an extra $600.

Yes headliner is like a cardboard material and it is black. I dont have a photo of the fender tag but I can get one tomorrow. Vin number is LH23G2B486503

High trim code I apologize for any confusion you guys may have had. More importantly are any of you interested in the car or the typo?

For sure if it was a true H code 72 Dart I would be very interested. But Someone that is not as informed may buy it under the wrong info.

Per the vin, which I provided, the car is a High Trim Level car. The car is not a high performance engine car. I believe that j061093409 pointed that out already. The intentions of this post is not to provide false information about the car, the intent is to sell it. Hope this clarification helped.

No body is ragging on you, its just that a 72 "H" code Dart is real and very rare. They made something like a sum total 50 of them available in Canada only, at Crosstown in Edmonton, Ab. and at Pembina Dodge in Winnipeg Mb. They are an LL23H2Rxxxxxx, only 8-9 have been found.
You have a very nice project for sale - good luck on your sale.

No offense taken just wanted to clear the air on the subject. The way that it read in the original post may have made some believe that the car is indeed the rare "H" code dart. I have since reiterated that this is just the run of the mill dart swinger with a High trim level package. Thanks for the history lesson on the rare "H" code dart and the kind words of encouragement.
