About as bad a day as it can get.

Damn, shitty day. Hope you can get a bar. As for the show.......doesn't sound like one I would attend. I guess they all only see how much money was spent on a car as to whether it is show worthy. Their loss, to heck with 'em.
I don't intend on going back. If I do, it'll be with my 78 F250. Rustiest, worst condition pile of junk I have but it runs fantastic and is not only road worthy, it's proven reliable which is what I care about. Security even told me that these guys that spend money on the million dollar cars don't want to see stuff like mine; I didn't see anything worth more than 50k at best. I go to shows to hang out, meet new people and have a good time. To me, it's just a car. I felt the same way about a 62 Studebaker I just got rid of. Yeah, it was a cool old car, but it was just a car. My S10 ran out of gas and I used the Studebaker to tow it home because it was the only other thing I had running at the time. Whenever I buy an old car, I look at how it runs or how difficult it is to make it run. Paint body and interior would be nice, but not necessary for a nice car.
