Front Clip Swaps

With the grace from above, a torch, & a welder anything can be made to work. The old adage, "Beat to fit, paint to match" comes to mind...

Oh sure, the lack of the proper mounting holes is a pretty minor issue. But to fix it you'd have to be able to weld, because the frame rail will have to be opened up somewhere and nuts welded inside the rails. The rest of the swap is a bolt on operation, anybody that work a wrench can make it happen. To fix the bumper issue that comes up trying to put the earlier bumper brackets on a '75+ or early '74 car you'd need a welder and enough confidence in you abilities to cut open the frame rails. Not hard, but it's definitely a change in skill level compared to the rest of it. Also worth noting if you're looking for a replacement front frame rail, although if you can do that you can install the bumper bracket mounts.
