Interested Need the number off of the bottom of the shifter. Or a picture with a tape measure next to the hurst logo on the handle.

Thanks for the info. Thats a very late 68 or 69 up handle by the logo. Looking for an early 68 shifter for a customers car. May be interested in just the console for the same customer according to price if you would split them up.

The shifter looks like a "B" body console style? Not trying to be a jerk...just doesn't look "bent" enough to be a "A" body console shifter? The top section with the HURST should be laid down more, or when installed more horizontal to the console, could be just the picture angle but many people mix up "A" and "B" handles...again not trying to be a jerk here, just helpful

Thanks for the photos, had me a little scared, I bought the console and shifter and never installed them. I was told that the shifter and console were for an A-Body. I went to Brewers Performance and looked at photos of A and B body console shift handles. After reviewing those pictures and my shift handle I am very confident that mine is for an A body. The A body shift handle has a SHARP 90 degree bend whereas the B body has less than a 90 degree bend, mine has the sharp 90.

Joe, that's great! I was mistaken in the past buying one...they look very much the same.
Again, I wasn't trying to be a jerk or a smart ***....this set up is nice, a tough find all together. Good luck on the sale!

I've had a few questions concerning the shift handle, here is another picture of the handle the clearly shows a 90 degree bend.

Here's pics of a body. Bend looks more pronounced on mine. Rainy Day Auto has a thread with pics of a and b body side by side.

The one that Joe Dokes has that doesn't bend down as far is 69 and newer and has outline Hurst letters.
Bolt in style.

The one Marksmopar1 posted is a 68 and has single line Hurst letters. Slip in style.

Now I'm thoroughly confused, here's a couple of new pics. I don't want to misrepresent the handle, I will go sell it on fbbo if I have to.

Joe you have a 68 console and a 69 or newer shifter.
They didn't come out of the same car but they will work in the same car.
Nice rare parts you have there. Hope this helps your sale.

I need to enter the discussion. 66 consoles had argent tops as well as 67 and 68. The 69 consoles had woodgrain inserts. 66-68 had Inland shifters and many were converted to Hurst shifters. 69's had Hurst shifters (and the woodgrain consoles)

Not trying to stir the pot anymore, but I thought that the bends in the handle looked like a B-body one on the upper half and a A-body one on the lower half.
I saw a pair of B-body and A-body reproduction console handles side by side last weekend at Brewer's vendor spot and you can see how different they are when they are next to each other. Also weren't the factory original handles in 68-69 all spring clip mount and not bolt in type? I'm just trying to learn something here like some others are....
