Just installed a 2 row 1 1/4 tube rad in my 68 big block dart. I only have 1" clearance between the water nose and the rad. So looks like I need a Electric Pusher Fan. What is everyone using and is there another solution? Thanks Ron

Push fan in the front , Griffin is one heck of a tuff and great pick to keep the engine cool, I have one on my truck that is 22 years old..

I did have a very similar issue.

Here's everything together. Griffin 2 row 1 1/2" tube 31" X 19". Fan assembly is from a 2000 CL500 Mercedes.

Cfr performance has some great electric fans, all are tested before they sell them, have one of theirs on my 72 satellite big block going to get another one, it's their 10" fan, or they also have a 16" if you just want to run 1 fan. My plan is to have one on a switch and the other on a thermo switch

Good god man! 1" !?? How thick is that Radiator?? I installed a Champion 3 row that lists as 2.75" think. I had 2 3/8" clearance between rad and face of water pump pulley. I haven't started the motor yet, but am forced to run a flex fan at this point (Derale HP fan). My other BIG obstruction is an AC compressor from Classic Air. The front of it sticks out the same as the water pump. The flex fan may/may not provide adequate cooling here in TX. We'll see.

Nice. That's the first time I've seen that setup. This requires a pin on hood...doesn't it??
Thanks! Yes you need hood pins because the latch mechanism comes out. I also made a filler piece so you're not looking down at the radiator, it's all painted black now. It was a lot of work but I don't worry about clearance or engine temp any longer. The Griffin is about 3 1/4" thick if I remember correctly.
