Is this true???? 1970 Dart only year with 340

-
Well, the Dodge Dart Demon had 340's in '71 & '72 and the Dodge Dart Sport had 340's in '73......

Except for those pesky Canadian 1971 340 Darts. Lots of puffery in that ad. :)

And an even smaller run of Canadian 340 Darts in 1972.

the Demon is not a Dart. the 1973 Dart sport had a 340. the 1968 and 1969 Dart 340 is close enough to a 1970 in my book

Plus he throws out the "numbers matching" BS as if a car should not be expected to match the vin and body numbers BUT IT (allegedly) HAS A WARRANTY BLOCK

Been relisted with the same BS "numbers correct" So no engine yet it's "numbers correct?"

"I do have correctly dated 340 engines if the buyer would like to purchase separately."

Dodge: Dart VERY RARE FIND!

I also had a 1969 Dart Swinger 340, and other years of Darts were obviously available with the 340 engine.

very expensive part of Long Island! thinks a started restoration is worth something!!! missing a lot of parts. way too much money in my book unless you are a body man and a mechanic and do it yourself and do not value your sweat equity.

According to car insignia and service manual, a Demon is a Dart. My 72 says Dodge Dart on the trunk lid as did the one I bought new in February 72. The Demon Is just the fast back version.
Yote

LM23H0R is a Dart Swinger 340
LM29H1R is a Dart Demon 340
Dart is the model but various variations
In Plymouth there is Belvedere Satalite and Belvedere Road Runner

He clearly states that he is talking about the 70-72 Dart body style!! Of course, he also mentions something about a "Magical Moment", so add those two together and you need a wheel barrow to haul around his description!!

Reading is Fun-d-mental

yep, mentions the generation. For the US that's correct... just not true for the entire population of 70-72 Darts.
