588" motor in 68 cuda

Nice results! That's a great tq number and you don't have to spin it very high either for peak hp. How high did you turn it on the Dyno? Just curious because mine made peak power at 7,400 and we spun it to 7,700 on the pulls. Also what fuel did you use?
It was spun up to 7000. It did not pick up any after the peak 6400. I too also like the lower peak rpm,s. Should help with valve springs and piston speed. Used Sunoco 110 fuel. You have a larger camshaft in yours correct? Could be why your Peak RPM was higher. I should have a Dyno graph soon I will post it when I have it
