My PLASTIC addiction.....

The mpc cuda fastback kit was offered as a 67 and a 69. Not sure about a 68. I saw a 67 glue bomb being parted out on evilbay. I think the guy made about $250 out of all the parts. It was insane, just like parting a real one. This kit had potential too, it wasnt badly assembled, and the bonus was that it was never painted, straight white plastic.

I think if you find one of these being parted you may be able to get the 67 hood, taillights, and grilles. Shave the bump on the nose flat, and cut the grille openings to fit the 67 grilles, and sand and fill the 69 side parking lamps. Instant 67.

Well I know that the '69 'Cudas was done by AMY as well as MPC..... The car I have in pieces missing the bumpers and grille is a older AMT kit.... Which if my memory serves me right that tooling that kit was made from dates back to the MPC days!

NOW, as for the '67 the '68 and the '69, the grilles are all different right? So the inside contour would be different! As for that is the hoods different (I REALLY don't know!) BUT if your talking about plastic models, I can't see why it be difficult to make a master copy from an existing part and make the body fit it.... Just me and how I customize/master copy things....
