hey guys ive got a duster with a 400/727/8.75 with 3.23 gears, wanting some advice on my setup its standard bore possibly aftermarket pistons as they sit quiet high in the cylinder, 452 closed heads, performer low rise manifold, 484 cam, hedman b body headers, and a small block stall which im told will be about 2100.

its still a project and not finished and its my first carby v8 so im not sure if this setup is gunna work well, not sure of exact engine specs but it looked allrite when we pulled the heads an pan, just want a cruiser with a bit of poke and it will be upgraded down the track, any advice would be appreciated on carby size and possible changes to make the most of a cheap setup, cheers

Anything you got in stock, under 750, or a big TQ. I love TQs
With a strong 400 and 275/60-15 tires or less, she will annihilate the tires, so it won't much matter. As a streeter even a 2bbl (jus saying not suggesting)will be strong to 60 mph, which will be 5700rpm in 1st, with 28s.

452 is not a closed chamber head. Any good 750 will feed that engine well. Remember you have a shorter stroke than most brand X small blocks so it will want to wind up!

I like to make sure my carby matches my dizzy next to the mani's in my chally. Don't forget the tranny pulley

3310 holley. Easy to find new or used. Does holley still make em? I really dont know! LOL.
